Teachers true architects of nation: Lieutenant Governor

Srinagar, Sep 05: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Thursday paid tributes to teachers on occasion of Teachers’ Day, saying the community is the true architect of the nation who shapes the destiny of the country.

The Lieutenant Governor paid tributes to the great educationist and former president Dr S Radhakrishnan on his Janm-Jayanti, and said his life and works continue to inspire generations.

“Greetings and warm wishes to all teachers on Teachers' Day. I express my gratitude for their dedication to the growth of humanity. Tributes to the great educationist & former President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Ji on his Janm-Jayanti. His life & works continue to inspire generations,” Office of LG J&K said in a post on X.

“Teachers are the true architects of the nation and shaping the destiny of our country. A teacher plays many roles simultaneously by instilling creativity, curiosity, team-work, leadership qualities and civilizational values of harmony, brotherhood and compassion in our children,” the post added.
