Teachers in Ganderbal welcome students on reopening of schools

Ganderbal, Mar 4:  Several government and private schools in Ganderbal district on Monday warmly welcomed students on the first day of school reopening after three-month winter vacations.

The teachers were seen warmly receiving and welcoming the students back to school.

The schools organised special functions and activities to give students a joyful and cheerful atmosphere. Several schools had decorated the premises with flowers and balloons.

Besides, the teachers offered sweets to the children on their arrival at school.

On the first day of school, children walked into the school campus with cheerful faces. Meeting their friends and having exciting discussions added to their energy.

“This special programme was conducted on the first day of school to welcome students after winter vacations,” a teacher said. “We celebrate the first day as a welcome day.”

He said that the occasion was aimed at strengthening the bond between the teachers and students and providing students with a joyful atmosphere.
