Tata Mobile hits vehicle and barricade at Qazigund naka, cop escapes unhurt

Srinagar, Sep 30: A speeding Tata mobile vehicle on Tuesday morning rammed into another vehicle and a police barricade at Levdoora Traffic Naka in Qazigund before fleeing from the spot.

An official said that the Tata mobile (UP21ET-0918), travelling from Jammu towards Srinagar, attempted to overtake and hit a Tavera (JK02AX-7795) stationed at the naka in the early morning hours.

The vehicle then rammed into a barricade, which struck a policeman, causing him to fall to the ground, official said.

Fortunately, no injury was reported in the incident. Police have taken cognizance, and efforts are underway to trace the fleeing vehicle, the official added. (KNC)
