Tarun Chugh assures full central support to flood victims in Jammu
Jammu, Sep 15: BJP national general secretary and Prabhari for J&K, Tarun Chugh, on Monday visited village Barmini, Panchayat Sunjwan in Jammu, to interact with the flood-affected people and took a first-hand account of their grievances.
The visit was aimed at ensuring that immediate relief reached the victims and long-term rehabilitation measures were put in place.
Chugh was accompanied by J&K BJP president and former minister Sat Sharma, MLA Vikram Randhawa and other senior party leaders.
The leaders interacted with several families and reassured them of continued support until normalcy was fully restored.
While addressing the people, Tarun Chugh expressed deep concern over the hardships faced by the families due to the devastating floods. He assured them that the union government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to providing every possible assistance. He said that the BJP stood firmly beside every victim in the hour of crisis. He stressed that no one would be left unattended and the Centre would extend the best possible help and aid for both relief and rehabilitation.
“Our priority is to ensure that affected families are provided with proper shelter, essential supplies, and financial support for rebuilding their lives,” he stated.
Chugh further emphasised that the Modi government always placed the welfare of the common people at the forefront and reiterated that BJP workers and leaders would remain constantly on the ground to assist the flood-hit families.
