Tarigami appeals govt to consider age limit concern of JKAS aspirants
Srinagar, Nov 11: CPI(M) senior leader and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami Monday appealed Omar Abdullah-led government to consider long pending demand of JKAS aspirants who seek open merit age limit to 37.
He said the JKAS aspirants were demanding the restoration of the pre-abrogation age limit.
Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter), MLA Kulgam said: “JKAS aspirants were demanding the restoration of the pre-abrogation age limit of 37 for open merit candidates. However, a recent government order has fixed it at 35. Requesting @OmarAbdullah to consider their long-standing demand of restoring the upper age limit to 37”.
