Tanvir Sadiq visits family of accident victim at Zoonimar

Srinagar, Nov 19: On the directions of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, today visited the family of Asiya from Gilkadal, Zoonimar in Zadibal, who died in an accident.

"The young woman tragically lost her life after being hit by an Army vehicle in Chadoora. Sadiq met the grieving mother and other family members, who have been left shattered by this irreparable loss. He handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 from the Red Cross as immediate assistance," a statement said.

Sadiq further informed the family that the process for the release of Rs 2 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund has been initiated on the directions of the Chief Minister.  He assured the bereaved family that every possible measure will be taken to support them in this moment of profound grief.
