Tanvir Sadiq lays foundation stone for Rs 21.52 lakh illuminated landmark at Alamgari Bazar

Srinagar, Dec 4: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq Thursday laid the foundation stone for a major beautification and illumination project at Alamgari Bazar, marking a significant step toward upgrading civic aesthetics and enhancing the cultural character of the historic locality, said a press release.

The project, sanctioned at a cost of Rs 21.52 lakh, includes the creation of an illuminated landmark attraction along with comprehensive beautification works, foundation strengthening, and artistic calligraphy reflective of the area’s heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Tanvir Sadiq said that the initiative is part of his broader vision to rejuvenate old Srinagar’s public spaces and restore their traditional charm while ensuring modern amenities.
