Tanvir Sadiq lays foundation stone for drainage project in Zadibal

Srinagar, Nov 18: MLA Zadibal and National Conference chief spokesman Tanvir Sadiq laid the foundation stone for a major drainage network in Alamgiri Bazar in Zadibal constituency on Tuesday.

This long-pending demand of the residents of Alamgiri Bazar has finally been met, with the project being taken up for Rs 76 lakh.

The new drainage system will cater to a large stretch of the Shehar-e-Khaas area, significantly improving local infrastructure.

This marks the second major drainage project initiated in the constituency within a week, following the launch of a similar Rs 76 lakh project at Vicharnag.

Speaking on the occasion, Sadiq reaffirmed his strong commitment to the people of Zadibal, assuring that all essential works in the area will be completed in a time-bound manner.

He said that several major development projects are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.

Sadiq thanked CM Omar Abdullah for his continuous support in ensuring that Srinagar is developed and beautified in the right and sustainable manner.
