Mir Behri, one of Srinagar’s most unique and vibrant lake settlements, has long faced challenges due to inadequate connectivity. The new bridge is expected to ease daily movement, improve access to essential services, and enhance socio-economic opportunities for residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Tanvir Sadiq said, “One of my foremost promises was to ensure a proper, dependable connection for the people of Mir Behri. Today marks a major step towards that commitment. This bridge will not only connect habitations but also connect our people to better opportunities and an improved quality of life.” He congratulated the residents of Mir Behri and expressed gratitude to all departments, engineers, and community members who supported the initiative. “This project reflects our collective resolve to bring ease, dignity, and development to every corner of Zadibal,” he added.
