Syedpora Sports Club triumphs in Khimber Knockout T-20 Cricket Tournament

Khimber, July 21: The Khimber knockout T-20 cricket tournament reached its thrilling conclusion today at the Khimber Sports field, with Syedpora Sports Club emerging victorious in a closely contested final match against Dara Hawks.

The tournament, which featured 24 teams competing in a knockout format, showcased some of the best cricketing talent in the region. In the final showdown, Dara Hawks won the toss and elected to bat first, setting a challenging target of 111 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Displaying remarkable skill and determination, Sayedpora Sports Club successfully chased down the target in the 19th over, clinching the championship title.

The event, organised by Mohammad Younis, Irfan Ahmad, and Anzar Ahmad, drew widespread attention and support from the local community. The final match was attended by hundreds of enthusiastic cricket fans, creating an electrifying atmosphere at the Khimber Sports field.

Several distinguished guests graced the occasion as guests of honor, including Peer Bilal, Dr G M Rather, and Ishfaq Ahmad, SI PP Khimber. Also present were Parviez A Dar, FirdousKarim (Managing Director of Bisleri India Ltd, Kashmir Zone), Showkat A Dar, and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, among others.
