Syed Mudasir elected as president Contractors Association Banihal

Banihal, Sep 20: Syed Mudashir Ahmad has been elected president of the C and D Class Contractors Association Banihal.

He secured the highest number of votes among five contestants in elections held on 19 September. Out of over 300 registered contractors, 263 cast their votes under the supervision of police and civil administration to ensure transparency.

Syed Mudasir Ahmad received 97 votes, followed by Mudasir Ahmad Wani with 73 votes, Shaheen Jamali Malik with 57 votes, Tariq Ahmad Wani with 21 votes, and Abrar Ahmad Khan with 15 votes.

After his victory, the newly elected president thanked contractors and officials and pledged to work diligently for the welfare and interests of the association’s members.
