Syed Mansoor, Yasir Reshi rejoin PDP

Srinagar, March 16: Former PDP General Secretary Syed Mansoor and former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Yasir Reshi rejoined PDP on Sunday at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

They returned to the party in the presence of the party president, Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders.

Notably, Reshi had resigned from the basic membership of PDP in 2021. Thereafter, a few months later, he joined Sajad Lone's Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference. Later in September 2024, he joined Awami Etihad Party (AIP).

Similarly, Mansoor Hussain Sohrawardhy announced his resignation from PDP’s basic membership in July 2021, citing “strong political and personal reasons.”

Afterwards, following in the footsteps of his political colleague, he joined Sajad Lone's JKPC.
