SUSPICIOUS LOC MOVEMENT | Army fires, launches CASO

Rajouri, April 1:   The Army guarding the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keri area of the Rajouri sector resorted to firing after noticing suspicious movement on Sunday night.

A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was also launched in the area after the firing.

Official sources said that on Sunday night, a suspicious movement was noticed along the LoC in the Doonga Gala area of Keri in the Rajouri sector.

They said that the troops picked up the movement and resorted to firing to thwart any infiltration attempt.

The area was later cordoned from all sides and searches were launched that were still going on, the official sources said.
