Suspected narcotics seized on LoC in Poonch

Poonch , Feb 18: Security forces in Poonch district have seized suspected narcotics substance on Line of Control (LoC) at Bagyal Dhara area of Poonch district.

A case has been registered and investigation started.

As per official sources an operation was launched at Bagyal Dhara village area of Poonch on Line of Control after reports of some suspicious movement. The security forces recovered a few packets of suspected narcotics substance.

In the operation, officials said, two kilograms and approximately seven hundred grams of suspected narcotics has been recovered and seized.

The recovered material, was part of cross LoC smuggling of narcotics.

Further investigation, legal proceedings into the matter are going on, they said.
