Surgical workshop held at GMC Srinagar

Srinagar, July 5: A two day live surgical workshop cum conference was organised by Department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery GMC Srinagar.

Participants included faculty and residents from across the country attended the event. The conference was attended by leading stalwarts of ENT like Dr Alok Thakar HOD AIIMS, Dr Sandeep Bansal from PGI CHANDIGARH, Dr Seemab from Pune, Dr Mohnish from Rajasthan, Dr Vinod Felix from Kerela, Dr Narendra from Chennai, Dr Karthikeyan from Coimbatore, Dr Aalamgir Chowdhary from Bangladesh. Dr Syed Abid Rashid Secretary Health and Medical Education graced the occasion as chief guest and Mir Mohd Maqbool Ex HOD ENT was guest of honour with Prof Iffat Hassan Principal/ Dean GMC Srinagar as chief patron.

Live surgical demonstration of trans nasal hypophysectomy for pituitary tumour was held, Besides laser surgery for laryngeal malignancy was showcased. Prof Manzoor Ahmad Latoo. Hod ENT GMC Srinagar highlighted the work from department.
