Sunny Gupta promoted as SP; major reshuffle in J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau
Srinagar, June 30: In a significant administrative reshuffle within Jammu and Kashmir's Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), the government has announced the promotion and fresh postings of several officers, as per Government Order No. 14-JK-GAD (Vig) of 2025 dated June 30.
As per the minutes of the Designated Committee meeting held on May 22, 2025, Sunny Gupta (JKPS-125687), who was serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police in the ACB, has been promoted and posted as Superintendent of Police in the same agency, until further orders.
Simultaneously, three Deputy Superintendents of Police currently serving in ACB have been repatriated to the Home Department for further postings. They include:

In their place, the government has deputed three DySPs to ACB from various departments to fill available vacancies:
Mohd Anzer (JKPS-182334), previously DySP Ops Chadoora
Mohd Amin (EXK-952533), from Crime Branch, J&K
Malikzada Idrees (ARP-981681), formerly DySP, AC&HG, Samba
Additionally, two Inspectors who have recently been promoted have been inducted into ACB as Deputy Superintendents:
Kamal Sangra (EXJ-955485)
Rajesh Sharma (EXJ-956608)
The order was issued by the General Administration Department with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor.
