Subsidised helicopter service resumes in Rajouri
Rajouri, Nov 12: In a major boost towards tourism exploration, the government’s subsidised helicopter service has resumed operations once again in Rajouri, marking a significant step towards improving connectivity in the region.
On resumption of service, the first helicopter landed and took off from the Sports Stadium Rajouri on Wednesday, symbolising the formal restart of the service.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gaurav Sikarwar, and several other officers were present on the occasion to oversee and facilitate the launch.
Officials said the resumption of the service would provide much-needed relief to the people of Rajouri, especially those travelling to remote and hilly areas, ensuring faster and more affordable transportation.
