Stunt biker detained in Baramulla: Police
Srinagar, Nov 5: An individual involved in a recent stunt biking incident that surfaced on social media was detained in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Police said on Wednesday.
A statement of J&K Police issued here said that in a swift and stern action against traffic violators, Police in Baramulla detained an individual, identified as Shahid Assad of Puthar Kreeri, who was seen performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle in a video that appeared on social media on Tuesday.
“He has been booked under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle used in the offence has been seized,” the Police statement said.
It said that the action was taken by Police Station Gulmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SHO Police Station Gulmarg, as part of J&K Police’s ongoing drive to ensure road safety and strict enforcement of traffic laws.
