Bhaderwah, Sep 08: Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhaderwah volunteered themselves to carry cleanliness drive in new bus stand area of J&K’s Bhadarwah as part of 'ek kadam swachhata ki or' campaign.

50 student volunteers of KV Bhaderwah, led by Rabia Dilmir carried out massive cleanliness drive in new bus stand Kotli as par of 'Ek Kadam Swachhata Ki Or' campaign, a press release said.

Student volunteers beside clearing the huge dumps of bio- non-degradable substances, they also cleaned the choked drains of Bus stand and it's adjoining areas.

Rabia Dilmir who was leading the campaign Said that by volunteering for the activity, they want to send a message to keep one's surroundings clean and hygienic.

" Bhaderwah is one of the most beautiful place in India but the heaps of garbage especially plastic waste scattered everywhere has started taking it's tool on encvoirnment. We want to create awareness among the public by informing them about the importance of clean and healthy surroundings," said Rabia Dilmir.
