Strong winds damage residential house in Kalaroose

Kupwara, Aug 26: The gusty winds Monday evening wreaked havoc in Kalaroose area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district with the result a residential house was damaged.

According to locals gusty winds mixed with torrential rains began around 5:30 pm in the evening and lasted for quite some time.

They said that the roof top of a two storey residential house which belonged to Malook Ahmad Tedwa resident of Naarikote, Kalaroose was completely damaged.

An official said that there were no reports of any injuries.
