Stray dogs on prowl at Baghwanpora

Srinagar, Nov 2: Residents of Hakim Mohalla, Baghwanpora area of Lal Bazar have expressed concern over the presence of a large number of stray dogs in the area,

A delegation from the area said that some stray dogs are suffering with various diseases and chase pedestrians, posing a risk to their lives.

“Growing population of stray dogs has made our lives miserable. We urged SMC authorities to look into the matter but they did not take any action. We appeal SMC Commissioner to direct the concerned officials to shift the injured stray dogs from the area,” they added.
