Stray dogs on prowl at Abi Guzar multi-level parking

Srinagar, Nov 21: People who park their vehicles at multi-level parking of Smart City Ltd at Abi Guzar locality have expressed concern over

presence of a large number of dogs there.

A delegation of commuters including parents said that stray dogs chase people and students posing a risk to their lives. They said due to the presence of stray dogs, they face problems dropping and picking their children from the parking slot. “It becomes difficult for students, especially kids, to board school buses and vehicles in the parking lot due to the presence of stray dogs,” they said.

“These dogs chase students and persons who park their vehicles in the parking slot. We make a fervent appeal to the SMC Commissioner to look into the matter and take measures to tackle the stray dog menace in the locality,” they added.
