Stray dogs on prowl at Abi Guzar

Srinagar, Mar 25:  Commuters have expressed concern over presence of a large number of stray dogs in Abi Guzar area in Lal Chowk.

A delegation of commuters said the presence of strays dogs especially at multi-level parking at Abi Guzar poses risk to students of nearby schools.

“These stray dogs chase pedestrians and students endangering their lives at Abi Guzar market, Press Colony and multi-level parking. Students, especially kids face problems to board school buses and vans in the parking lot due to presence of stray dogs,” they said.

“We make a fervent appeal to the SMC Commissioner to take measures for tackling the stray dog menace in the locality,” they added.
