Stopping of Mehbooba Mufti in Poonch | PDP condemns action

Srinagar, Dec 30: Chairman of PDP’s Parliamentary Board Mohammad Sartaj Madni has strongly condemned the act of administration to  stop PDP President Mehbooba Mufti from meeting the families of three persons found dead a day after being picked up for questioning by the army following a terror attack in Poonch last week.

In a statement, Sartaj Madni said that Mehbooba Mufti was enroute to Poonch's Surankote area for condolence and to show the solidarity with the bereaved  families . He asked as to why was she stopped while J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina and NC leaders  allowed to meet the victims’ families recently.
