STIHL India launches National Parivartan Yatra
Srinagar, Aug 21: STIHL India announced the launch of the National Parivartan Yatra, a pioneering 90-day journey aimed at transforming the agricultural landscape of India through advanced farm mechanization. The yatra was flagged off today from Srinagar, marking the beginning of a nationwide tour that will cover over 72 cities across 11 states, culminating in Kanyakumari.
A statement said that the National Parivartan Yatra is an ambitious initiative designed to educate and empower farmers with the latest tools, technologies, and practices in the agricultural sector. Over the course of 14,000 kilometers, STIHL India will showcase its cutting-edge machinery and offer hands-on demonstrations, ensuring that farmers are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to enhance productivity and efficiency.
The flag-off ceremony was graced by the Managing Director of STIHL India, along with key members of the management team, the regional brand ambassador Afshan Ashiq, and STIHL J&K dealers. Speaking at the event, Parind Prabhudesai, Managing Director of STIHL India, emphasised the company's commitment to driving positive change in the agricultural sector.
"The National Parivartan Yatra is more than just a journey; it's a movement aimed at revolutionizing the way farming is done in India. Through this initiative, we aim to empower farmers with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly changing agricultural landscape," said Parind Prabhudesai.
