SSP Udhampur bereaved; little daughter passes away

Jammu, Aug 3: In a tragic and sudden turn of events, the young daughter of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Udhampur Amod Ashok Nagpure passed away on Sunday after a brief illness.

As per sources, around 5-year-old child was down with a mild fever for the past few days. Suddenly her condition deteriorated on Sunday and she collapsed. Despite immediate medical help and efforts, she, unfortunately, could not be saved, leaving behind the grieving family.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah joined different strata of society in sharing their condolences with the bereaved SSP and family.

Lieutenant Governor, while expressing his heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of daughter of Amod Nagpure Ashok, SSP Udhampur, said, “Shocked and heartbroken by the tragic news of the passing of the daughter of SSP Udhampur Shri Amod Nagpure Ashok. My deepest condolences to the grieving family. May the Almighty give them courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss. I pray for peace to the departed soul. Om Shanti.”

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah too has expressed his deep sorrow over the untimely demise of the young daughter of SSP Udhampur. “He has extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for strength to bear this irreparable loss,” Office of the Chief Minister wrote on ‘X’.

“Deeply saddened by the tragic death of the young daughter of Mr Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS). This is the most painful loss that a person can possibly have. I pray the parents find peace. And strength to bear this unimaginably unbearable loss,” posted Peoples Conference president and former minister Sajad Lone.

Former J&K BJP president Ravinder Raina in his tributes wrote, “Shocked & deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of the beloved daughter of SSP Udhampur Sh Amod Nagpure JI (IPS). My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. May God give the immense strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss. Om Shanti Shanti.”

J&K National Conference MLA and chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, in his condolence message on ‘X’, posted, “Shocked and heartbroken to hear about the tragic loss of the young daughter @Amod_India-No pain compares to that of losing a child – it leaves a void that never heals. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May they find strength. RIP.”

The Jammu and Kashmir Dragon Boat Association also expressed their deepest condolences with Amod Ashok Nagpure on the tragic demise of his child.
