SSP Srinagar flags off group of students for Bharat Darshan tour

Srinagar, Aug 5: As a part of the civic action programme of J&K Police, SSP Srinagar G V Sundeep Chakravarthy flagged off 84 students of district Srinagar for a five-day-long Bharat Darshan tour, accompanied by five caretakers.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the tour is organised by J&K Police and all boarding and lodging facilities, to and fro air tickets, and all other logistic facilities were being provided to the touring youth.

An impressive flag-off ceremony was organised at DPL Srinagar.

SSP Srinagar G V Sundeep Chakravarthy, SP Zone South Srinagar, SP Headquarters Srinagar, DySP Headquarters Srinagar, DySP DAR Srinagar, and other officers were present on the occasion.

SSP Srinagar, while interacting with touring students, highlighted that the Bharat Darshan tour is primarily aimed at providing an opportunity to the youth of the district to understand the togetherness of India and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places of the country.

During the Bharat Darshan tour, the students would visit the cities of Mumbai and Delhi.

All the students have been facilitated with track suits, shoes, and tracking bags.

Parents and touring youth thanked J&K Police for providing them with an opportunity to visit the popular cities of the country.
