Srinagar, Oct 09: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday relieved Ms. P.D. Nitya, IPS (AGMUT:2016), from her posting as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama to enable her to join the Rajasthan Cadre following her approved inter-cadre transfer.

As per an official order issued by Home Department J&K on directions of Lieutenant Governor of J&K, in pursuance to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India's communication under reference and the approval of Competent Authority, Ms. P.D. Nitya, IPS (AGMUT:16), SSP Pulwama is hereby relieved from the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, with effect from 08.10.2025 (A/N).

The order reads that, Nitya IPS, to join the Rajasthan Cadre on account of her inter-cadre transfer to the said Cadre. (KNC)
