Srinagar to host National Softball Umpiring Clinic 2025

Srinagar, Jul 20: In a significant move to elevate the standards of softball officiating in India, the Jammu & Kashmir Softball Association, in collaboration with the Softball Association of India and supported by the J&K Sports Council, is set to host the National Softball Umpiring Clinic 2025-26 from July 29 to 31 in Srinagar.

As per a statement issued on Sunday, the event aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of softball umpires across the country, promoting the growth and development of the sport in India.

The clinic will bring together over 150 umpires from various states, providing a platform for them to learn from experienced commissioners and instructors and exchange best practices. The event is expected to elevate the standard of umpiring in Indian softball, ensuring fair play and sportsmanship at all levels.
