Srinagar police seek help in identifying accused involved in vehicle theft

Srinagar, Nov 01: Srinagar police on Saturday sought public assistance in identifying an accused involved in vehicle theft.

Upon receipt of written complaint pertaining to the theft of Alto vehicle bearing registration no. 4553-JK05K , case FIR No. 70/2025 under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita was registered at Police Station Shalteng, police official said.

He said during the course of investigation, CCTV footage was analyzed, which shows the suspected accused.

Police requested public to assist by sharing any relevant information that may help in the investigation or lead to the arrest of individual(s) involved.

Anyone with information is requested to contact Police Station Shalteng or call PCR Srinagar, police said and added, the identity of the informant will be kept confidential.
