Srinagar Police observe Integrity Pledge ceremony across all establishments

Srinagar, Aug 5: In a resolute effort to uphold the principles of transparency, accountability, and ethical governance, Srinagar Police today observed the Integrity Pledge ceremony across all its units including District Police HQ, District Police Lines, Police Stations and Police Posts.

The Pledge ceremony was organised as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week to emphasise the commitment of Jammu & Kashmir Police in promoting integrity and combating corruption in public service. Senior officers administered the oath to all the police personnel across all units of Srinagar Police, collectively affirming their dedication to ethical conduct in both professional and personal spheres.

Speaking on the occasion, senior officials reiterated the importance of fostering a corruption-free environment and maintaining public trust through honest and responsible policing.

They emphasized that integrity forms the backbone of effective law enforcement and good governance. The Integrity Pledge initiative is in line with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), which encourages all public institutions to instill a strong culture of integrity and vigilance.
