Ramban, July: Despite light rain at vulnerable places between Nashri and Banihal sectors, the Srinagar- Jammu National Highway remained open for two-way traffic of light medium vehicles, and one-way traffic of heavy vehicles for Jammu on Friday.

Traffic authorities said traffic movement remained slow due to the breakdown of two heavy vehicles and due to single-lane road stretches at Dalwass, Mehar Cafeteria, and between Maroog and Kishtwar Pathar areas of Ramban.
