Srinagar-Jammu NH open today

Ramban, August, 26: The Srinagar-Jammu National Highway would remain open for two-way traffic of Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) on Tuesday but no heavy vehicle would be allowed to ply from 5 am to 5 pm between Banihal-Qazigund and Chenani Nashri tunnels on Monday.

The traffic authorities issued a fresh advisory for Tuesday stating that subject to fair weather and good road conditions, passenger LMVs and private cars would be allowed to ply on either side of the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

However, they said that no heavy vehicle would be allowed to ply from 5 am on Tuesday up to 5 pm Tuesday between Banihal-Qazigund and Chenani Nashri tunnels.
