Due to the suspension of traffic movement, the highway passing through the Udhampur and Ramban districts presented a deserted look although skeletal traffic of security forces was seen moving on the highway.

Traffic Police officers at Traffic Control Room (TCU) Udhampur and Srinagar late Tuesday evening said that traffic resumed on the highway.
