Srinagar administration gears up for ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign

Srinagar, Dec 19: In connection with the nationwide campaign ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ as part of Good Governance Week-2024, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat at the DC Office to gear up the line departments for successful conduct of programmes under the initiative.

The DC highlighted the objectives of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign scheduled to be held from December 19 to 24, 2024.

He said that the initiative was aimed to bring the administration to the doorsteps of the rural population and address their grievances in a time-bound and qualitative manner.

Bhat said that the purpose of the campaign was to reinforce the principles of good governance and improve service delivery at the grassroots level.

He asked the officers to hold mass awareness camps in all panchayat blocks of the district and provide government services directly at their doorstep.
