Jammu, Oct 1: “Despite being specially-abled we have performed our duties and now we leave it to our representative to do his job i.e., to remain accessible to us, whenever we need.”

Ex-Subedar Mewa Ram, 68, stated this as he came out after casting vote in a polling station set up in Boys Higher Secondary School, R S Pura.

Anshu, 25, who suffers fifty percent disability too shared a similar sentiment. “But for me development of the country and safety too figures in priority,” she says.

Dr Manjulata, 77, wanted to see the country progressing and hence thought her vote was very precious.
