Specialised courses enhance operational capabilities to tackle emerging situations, challenges: ADGP Armed
Jammu, Feb 25: Additional Director General (ADG) of Armed Police Anand Jain has asserted that specialized courses enhance operational capabilities of the police personnel and prepare them in tackling emerging situations and future challenges.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating two-week specialised Quick Reaction Team (QRT) training course for Armed Police personnel at Commando Training Centre (CTC) in Sunjwan, Jammu on Tuesday.
The course is designed to enhance the operational capabilities of police personnel and also improve their tactical skills.
During his address, the ADGP Armed emphasized the significance of these refresher or specialised courses and their crucial role in preparing the Police personnel in tackling emerging situations and future challenges. The ADGP also stressed upon the trainees to fully utilize this opportunity to sharpen their skills and enhance their tactical knowledge.
Earlier on his arrival, Jain was presented Guard of Honour by a contingent of CTC Sunjwan. Sarah Rizvi, DIG IRP Range Jammu and Vinod Kumar, DIG, Armed Range Jammu were also accompanying the ADGP.
On the occasion, the ADGP Armed also inspected the facilities provided to the trainees in the said training centre.
Abrar Choudhary, SSP, Commandant, IRP 14th Bn was also present on this occasion besides other officers.
