Special arrangements made for waste collection in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jun 6: Commissioner SMC, Dr. Owais Ahmed today said that special arrangements have been made to collect hides of sacrificial animals.

Dr Owais said stressed on implementation of effective sanitation and cleanliness measures for the convenience of people. The Commissioner passed directions for providing free hooper service for collection, disposal of animal skins and internal organs during Eid-ul-Adha.

He also directed for enhanced sanitation services around majids and religious places. Dr Owais said the people can utilise the services of a special 24x7 Control Room established for sanitation, waste management, and related concerns.
