Soz greets people on Lohri

Srinagar, Jan 13: Former Union Minister and Congress leader Prof Saifuddin Soz has extended his greetings to the people on the eve of Lohri, a folk festival that celebrates the harvest of winter crops in northern India.

In a statement Soz said, “My warm greetings to all those who are celebrating the joyous festival of Lohri today. This folk festival, primarily celebrated in Punjab and other parts of our country, marks the arrival of the harvest season.”

“It is a celebration of joy, abundance, and prosperity in people's lives. I extend my heartfelt greetings and sincere best wishes to everyone on this special occasion.  Happy Lohri,” he added.
