Sopore Police hold debate on ‘Role of Police in Nation Building’ at GDC Sopore

Sopore, Oct 24: As part of the ongoing observance of Police Commemoration Day, Police Flag Day, and Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, Sopore Police on Friday organised a debate competition on the theme “Role of Police in Nation Building” at the Auditorium Hall of Government Boys Degree College Sopore.

The event aimed to highlight the critical role of the police in upholding law and order, maintaining peace and harmony, safeguarding national integrity, and fostering public trust—the fundamental pillars of nation-building.

Students and faculty members actively participated, sharing insightful perspectives on how law enforcement contributes to strengthening democracy and ensuring justice in society.

The programme was attended by senior police officials, faculty members, and representatives from civil society.

At the conclusion of the debate, participants were felicitated with certificates and mementoes in recognition of their contributions and thoughtful ideas.
