Sopore encounter: Two terrorists killed, as many security personnel injured

Srinagar, June 19: Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Hadipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Wednesday.

A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that two terrorists have been killed by security forces in Hadipora, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.

Meanwhile, sources told Greater Kashmir that an army soldier and a policeman were injured in the encounter. They have been shifted to a hospital where doctors said their condition is stable.
