Solve problems of Downtown Srinagar people : KSS
Srinagar, Nov 17: Firdous Baba, President and Founder of Kashmir Sewa Sangh (KSS) today called for immediate attention to the long-standing socio-economic challenges faced by Downtown Srinagar.
Addressing media, Baba urged the government to grant special status or a dedicated aid package to thearea, , which has suffered from neglect for over three decades. He stressed the need to improve local resources, such as agricultural land and create economic opportunities, particularly for women and youth.
"We have witnessed the struggles of downtown Srinagar for more than 30 years. Without access to essential resources like agricultural land and sustainable avenues for growth, residents—especially women and youth—are left with limited prospects for a better future," Baba stated.
