Soldier killed in accidental firing on LoC in Rajouri

Rajouri, Mar 4: An army soldier was killed in accidental firing on Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district.

Reports said he was deployed near Anti Infiltration Obstacle System (AIOS, also referred to as Line of Control (LoC) fence under Nowshera Brigade of Rajouri.

He has been identified as Lans Naik Balvir Singh. His body was shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police said that necessary legal formalities and investigation into the matter has been set into motion.

Post mortem examination of body was conducted in Nowshera sub district hospital after which body of soldier was handed over to army authorities.
