Soldier among two die in separate road accidents in J&K
Srinagar, Sep 20: Two persons including an army soldier died while three others got injured in separate road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Friday.
They said one person died while two others injured after a truck they were travelling in met with an accident at National Highway at Battery Cheshma in Ramban district.
“The truck rolled down into a deep gorge which led to the death of one person while two others got injured, who was shifted to nearby hospital for treatment,” the officials said.
“The civil QRT Ramban and police are on job,” they said.
In another incident one army jawan was killed while another got injured in a Kathua road accident.
The officials said that an army vehicle which was on way to Macheddi from Bilawar rolled down 300 feet from the road, resulting the death of one army jawan and another injured.
The injured has been shifted to Bilawar hospital for treatment, where his condition is said to be critical, they added.
