Soldier among two drown in J&K's Doda

Doda, Aug 3: Two persons including an army man drowned in River Chenab near Doda, Police said.

They said that an Army man, Rohit Singh, 25, and Sunil Kumar, 24, both residents of Durga Nagar Khallani in Doda, drowned in River Chenab near the Durga Nagar village while they were washing their hands after performing the last rites of their relative on the banks of the river.

“A rescue operation has been launched by Police,” they said.
