Solar rath yatra flagged off

Jammu, Dec 26 : Commissioner Secretary, Science & Technology, Saurabh Bhagat, today flagged off the Solar Rath Yatra from JAKEDA Office, Jammu for promotion of Rooftop Solar Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Saurabh Bhagat said that the Yatra aims to create awareness among the electricity consumers so that more and more people are attracted towards the Solar Energy usage thereby reducing the energy burden in the UT of J&K.
