Snowfall Magic: Rajouri’s Eco Tourism Park emerges as a tourist hotspot
Rajouri, Feb 4: After a prolonged period of anticipation, the Eco-Tourism park area established by the Government in Kandi Gala has transformed into a bustling tourist hub, especially during the current snowfall. Drawing thousands of visitors, the scenic park has become a favoured destination for those seeking to revel in the beauty of the snow-clad surroundings.
Located at Kandi Gala on Rajouri Kotranka road, around thirty-five kilometres from Rajouri town, the work for the Eco-Tourism park was started in 2017 but is yet to be completed for multiple reasons including paucity of funds. However, the place is nowadays witnessing a massive influx of tourists from across the region who are visiting the area to enjoy snowfall.
Kandi Gali, the place where Eco Tourism Park is located is considered a high-altitude area in the subdivision and is one of the snow-clad places in the region.
Over the weekend, the allure of the ongoing snowfall drew more than five thousand people to the Eco-Tourism park area in Kandi Gala. Amidst the continuous fall of snowflakes, visitors were observed relishing the moment, engaging in activities like dancing and making the most of the picturesque surroundings.
Residents have voiced their demand for improved facilities in the area to harness the full potential of the growing tourist influx.
