Snowfall blocks roads in upper reaches of Sopore
Sopore, Dec 28: Snowfall in the upper reaches of Sub Division Sopore has led to the closure of several roads, causing disruptions in movement and connectivity.
The snowfall, which began late last night, intensified through the early hours, blanketing the region in thick layers of snow.
Locals have confirmed that roads leading to higher reaches areas of town including Rampora, Rajpora, Marbal, Yemberzalwari, Muqam, and in other upper areas of Rafiabad belt remain affected. Residents in the affected areas have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautions as temperatures continue to dip.
