"I am a simple person and a grassroots worker. I have been chosen MLA by my people. And more than any time in the past the sanctity of the institution of MLA is under threat. As long as I am the MLA I will protect the sanctity of this institution," he wrote on X.

"May I ask the government what is the legal and political stature of the Advisor. That he instructs DC who in turn instructs his PA to shoot of a text of invitation to MLAs," he wrote on X.

MLA Kupwara further "advised" the Minister to respect the fellow MLAs and show seriousness about the institutional supremacy of the Assembly.

"And a humble advice to the Hon Minister. If you are serious about the institutional supremacy of the Assembly and restoration of statehood start respecting your fellow MLAs. There are 6 MLAs in this district. Call them. Text them. If you are serious," he said.

The PDP Legislator further said that the meeting called by the advisor was aimed at a photo shoot and will deviate officers from their work.

"And one more advice to the Advisor and the Minister. If you want to help in snow clearance. Sit at one place and monitor the operations. Please stop these photo sessions. Summoning officers will mean taking them away from work," he said.

"Let them do their work. Let me know where you are. I will send the camera crew there for your photo sessions. Don’t disturb the officers," he wrote on X.
