SMC Senior Citizens Forum condoles demise

Srinagar, Jan 3: SMC Senior Citizens Forum expressed deep condolences over the demise of Ab Khaliq Reshi, a former employee of the SMC.

Reshi, who had been unwell for the past few years and was undergoing treatment for kidney failure, passed away recently.

The Nimazi Jinazah (funeral prayer) for the departed soul took place in the park opposite his residence near Al Farooq Masjid in Bemina. A significant gathering of both current and retired SMC employees attended the funeral prayer.

Members of the Senior Citizens Forum, including Hakim Aijaz Ali, Abdul Hamid Akmali, Hilal Ahmad Dewani, Manzoor Ahmad Taray, Mir Mansoor Ahmad, Gh Nabi Shah, Gh Nabi Bhat, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Shah, Mohammad Yousuf Wani from Lal Bazar, Mohammad Yousuf Wani from Bemina, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, Ab Rashid Guroo, and Shah Mohammad Nazki, were among those present to pay their respects.

The Fatehe function function for the deceased is scheduled for January 5  at 2:30 p.m at Masjid Anjum graveyard.
